Finding Nemo
 • Dory: Hey there, Mr. Grumpy Gills. When life gets you down do you wanna know what you've gotta do?
 • Marlin: No I don't wanna know.
 • Dory: [singing] Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim.
 • Marlin: Dory, no singing.
 • Dory: [continuing] Ha, ha, ha, ha, ho. I love to swim. When you want to swim you want to swim.
 • Marlin: Now I'm stuck with that song... Now it's in my head.
 • Dory: Sorry.

*sigh*

I guess people don’t understand what I mean.

I watched (or started watching) the original “The Exorcist” yesterday… but I fell asleep. In any case, I made it more than half way through the movie and I seriously thought that wasn’t scary at all. I thought it was quite funny.

Now, I wrote that on Facebook and people are trying to justify that it was made “back in the day” and that it didn’t have much special effects and etc. and that’s why it wasn’t scary. But HONESTLY… a movie that was made “back in the day” could still be just as scary as one made now.

I mean, there are comedies that were and still are funny. There are romance movies that are still good that were made back then. My point is, it’s not because of the special effects that a scary movie is going to be scary. Sure, it might add to it, but it’s by far not everything. I’m still trying to find a scary movie that truly scares me. The closest anything has ever gotten was “The Blair Witch Project” but still I wasn’t freaking out lol.

I’ll tell you one thing though. I was crapping my pants right at the beginning of the movie. But only because it was extremely over-hyped and considered as “one of the scariest movies of all time.” Like I would bring up the movie and some people would be like “Oh heck no. I’m never watching that.” and all that. But after I saw it… it’s just like… REALLY? THAT was supposed to scare me? Gahhh.

I just finished watching '500 Days of Summer'

I’m still not sure about it.
I think I was expecting way too much.

Don’t get me wrong, it had a great story and all…
But ugh, I don’t know, really…

Changeling (2008)Directed by: Clint Eastwood
Absolutely amazing film.Angelina Jolie did a superb job and I mean, I don’t think I could think of anyone who could have done her role better than she did.
The movie is basically about a mother and her son, where she leaves one day and her son disappeared. A few days later, the police claim to have found her son, but she says otherwise. Many people confirm the fact that the boy the police handed her was truly not hers, but still the LAPD sends her to a mental institution.
The rest of the movie shows the hardships and the troubles she has in the purse of finding her son.
I would recommend it to anyone.Watch it :)

Heck YEAH that’s a 3 POUND Cheez-it box :D :D :D
I’m about to watch Changeling. Heard it was pretty good and the trailer looks pretty good. The director, Clint Eastwood, is the same guy who directed Gran Torino.

I'm sorry Taylla

But…
“Into the Wild” was ridiculous.

*Warning. Spoiler. Don’t read if you still want to watch it (even though I don’t know why you would)*

I know I’m being really harsh. It’s just that I have repeatedly tried over and over to watch this movie (because of my lack of sleep, I’d fall asleep during the movie) and today when I finally watched the whole thing, I was expecting so much out of it and all…

And well, the whole movie is a ONE LINE plot dragged on for 2 and a half hours.

Boy hates societey. Goes into the wild. Dies.

Tell me if that’s not exactly what happened?
He’s seriously 23 years old. Mad at life. And just ends up dying of starvation.
Oh yeah. That’s really a great thing to do.

I could understand if he never came back ‘home’.
I could understand him living there forever.
Yeah. I think that’s cool (in his case alone lol).

But he starts to get really really skinny.
Doesn’t have any food left.
And finds out he’s gonna die.

NOW WHY WOULD HE JUST DO NOTHING!?

But despite everything… I didn’t hate it.
And I can still understand why you loved it.

Yeah. I’m weird.

:)

And just remember, if you want something in life, reach out and grab it.

It’s going to be gone soon.
I know.
What do we do?
Enjoy it.

Well, my conclusion is: Hate is baggage. Life’s too short to be pissed off all the time. It’s just not worth it.

American History X
Without a doubt, one of the greatest movies I have ever seen in my life. The story was just amazing. It shows a reality that exists, that we fail to recognize. And the cinematography was just perfect. They really perfected the black and white scenes to the max. It just gives you emotion while you watch the movie.
While I don’t think a lot of people will like it, becuase it’s not really your typical movie. It’s more than just entertainment, but really a moral lesson.
I really really recommend it though.
